Loopy Mango is Oejong Kim and Anna Pulvermakher who met at a fabric painting workshop at Fashion Institute of Technology and together they founded Loopy Mango in 2004. They have a store and online website, as well as a YouTube channel with fun and instructional videos.
Oejong was born in Korea and moved to New York in 2001 for a corporate job, but after teaching herself herself how to crochet she could not stop. Oejong is the Designer and Creative Director of the company. Anna Pulvermakher was born in the Soviet Union and moved to the US in 1991. Anna has a degree in mathematics (she worked for Microsoft and Expedia as a Software Test Engineer), and in 2003 she moved to New York to pursue her dream of becoming a professional artist.
