Get ready to learn how to needle felt your own lovely Dala Horse! The wool comes from Erindale Tapestry farm’s sheep and is hand-dyed special for this project! Learn how to needle felt wool to create designs that look like rosemaling.

Let your creativity come and play with the thoughtful, relaxing process of painting with wool.

Your own foam work pad
8" embroidery hoop

Erindale Studio is located on a century's old family farm in Wisconsin located near the Chequamegon National Forest. It is on the farm that maker Laura Berlage raises the sheep, and designs these kits - making the process complete from beginning to end!

Laura is a longtime friend of ASI who has taught many Nordic Craft classes. Laura has an MFA in Interdisciplinary Arts from Goddard College and continues her lifelong passion for learning with engaged, hands-on teaching for small groups to encourage creativity, imagination, and expression.

Wisconsin Sheep and Creativity

Friend of ASI, Laura Berlage, creates beautiful felting kits out of wool from sheep on her family’s century-old homestead farm outside Hayward, WI.
